Jude closed his eyes and all he could see was those blue eyes looking back at him. The girl with the sun in her eyes. He missed her more then he thought he would. Sitting on the beach back home, deported after being beaten. He hated having to leave, not getting to say goodbye. All he could think about was Lucy and each time he thought about her brought a smile to his face. It had been good for awhile, then things changed. Not that he wanted them to, he just couldn't follow a man with a megaphone. He didn't see how all that was going to bring anyone home, it just caused arrests. People to get beaten till they was black and blue. He went back to his old life. Working and going home until he saw the paper about the explosion. His heart sank hoping Lucy wasn't there.
When he had called Max and found out she was alive it was all he needed. He packed up and made his way back to the States. He went back for her. When he arrived at Sadie's concert and she wasn't there he feared she wasn't coming, not that she knew he'd be there. Max hadn't told his sister Jude was going to be there, and Jude liked the element of surprise it held. The moment he first saw her again was like their first meeting all over again. It was like the world and time itself stopped and it was just the two of them.
